Will my period underwear or reusable pad leak?

Our pads have been developed using a formula of layered organic bamboo for maximum absorbency and do not contain any plastics. During development, our products are tested by many women, none of these women experience leaks and since launching no customers have reported leaks. However, depending on your flow and movement during your period leaks may occur.

Are your products reusable?

Yes! All our products can be washed and reused.

How long do your products last?

With proper care, your reusable items should last up to 3 years (this is dependant on amount of use and care taken).

How do I dispose of my Danu pads when they eventually wear out?

Our pads are 100% natural so you can compost them!

Are your products organic?

We have indicated all products that use organic fabrics clearly on each product page and we are diligent in our efforts in finding organic options. We hope to offer 100% organic fabrics in the near future.

How will my order be packaged?

Your order will be delivered in a compostable courier satchel with minimal extra packaging. 

Where are Danu products made?

All Danu products are proudly made by hand in New Zealand.

What does Danu mean?

In Irish mythology, Danu is mother of the earth, the gods, fertility and wisdom - she seemed like a very fitting goddess to name our company after.
